Olie skyllet op på den svenske kyst

Kyststrækningen mellem Helsingborg og Landskrona i Sverige er forurenet med klumper af olie, der stammer fra et udslip natten til fredag i olieterminalen Prøvestenen i København. Det er lykkedes Søværnet at samle 150.000 liter olie op i Øresund.

Skibe, helikopter, fly og satellitbilleder har været taget i brug i et dansk-svensk samarbejde for at finde olien, og lørdag aften indstillede Søværnets Operative Kommando den danske del af indsatsen, da der ikke er mere olie tilbage på dansk område.

Selvom det er beklageligt at klumper af olie er nået ind på den svenske kyst, kalder Søværnets Operative Kommando opsamlingen af de 150.000 liter ude på havet for vellykket.

Olien slap ud natten til fredag, da et skib fik pumpet hydraulikolie om bord ved olieterminalen Prøvestenen i København. Den første vurdering lød på, at op imod 300.000 liter olie var endt i havet. Men nu vurderes det, at det drejer sig om en mindre mængde.

Selv om den danske del af operationen er indstillet, holder SOK to skibe i beredskab hvis der skulle blive behov for dem.
