Fiskerikontrolskibet Nordsøen solgt

NaturErhvervstyrelsen har solgt f iskerikontrolskibet Nordsøen for 6,55 mio. kr. Skibet blev taget ud af drift i januar efter at have fungeret som kontrolskib i 45 år.

Skibet blev solgt til højestbydende til det danske konsulentfirma FOGA. FOGA vil bruge det til offshore opgaver, som vagt- og overvågningsskib ved vindmølleanlæg. Man kan ydermere bruge det som ledsagefartøj ved undersøgelse af olie- og gasforekomster. Det oplyser NaturErhvervstyrelsen.

”Vi fik tre bud på skibet og har fået en god pris for det. Samtidig glæder jeg mig over, at Nordsøen fortsat vil høre hjemme i Esbjerg, og at det stadig vil være muligt at møde Nordsøen i danske farvande”, siger Anders Munk Jensen, kontroldirektør i NaturErhvervstyrelsen.

FOGA overtager Nordsøen fredag 3. maj på Flådestationen i Frederikshavn.
