Danske Rederier søger inspiration hos unge

Danske Rederier og Copenhagen Business School sætter nu fokus på den værdiskabelse og de fordele, som shipping virksomheder kan få af et samarbejde med bachelorstuderende. Det sker med et arrangement, der finder sted den 20. februar, og som er åbent for alle.

”Søfarten har brug for de unge. Vi oplever allerede, at rederierne har taget godt imod de nye akademikere fra bacheloruddannelserne i shipping. Men vi har behov for at styrke samarbejdet, så alle bliver klogere på, hvordan vi kan hjælpe hinanden,” siger Asbjørn Overgaard Christiansen, innovations- og digitaliseringschef i Danske Rederier.

Hensigten med arrangementet, ”Value Creation in Shipping Companies in a Digital World – How to Benefit from Collaboration with Bachelor Students”, er at skabe nye perspektiver på såvel shippingbranchens fremtid som den rolle, studerende kan spille i en konstant forandrende og digitaliseret verden.

Det sker på dagen gennem cases, præsentationer og netværk. Initiativet kommer efter et stigende behov for nytænkning og innovation i shippingbranchen, hvor bachelorstuderende anses for at kunne bidrage væsentligt i at gøre en forskel.

Copenhagen Business School, der er samarbejdspartner på arrangementet, oprettede for et par år siden en specialiseret akademisk bacheloruddannelse, International Shipping and Trade. Et tiltag, som i høj grad har været efterspurgt af rederierne.

Arrangementet foregår den 20. februar fra 14:30-17:00 her hos Danske Rederier og er gratis at deltage i.
