ReFlow Maritime vinder SDG Tech Award

Den danske maritim start-up virksomhed ReFlow Maritime vandt torsdag SDG Tech Awards 2019 i kategorien cirkulær økonomi. Priserne hylder virksomheder som gør en særlig indsats indenfor bæredygtighed, og har udgangspunkt i FN’s 17 verdensmål.

”Jeg er enormt stolt over, at de 30 dommere har kunne se det store potentiale i ReFlow Maritime - for det betyder, at vi nu har mulighed for at placere bæredygtighed i den maritime industri både nationalt og internationalt. Prisen understreger vigtigheden af cirkulær økonomi i forhold til vedligeholdelse af verdens skibe”, siger Rasmus Elsborg-Jensen, grundlæggeren af ReFlow Maritime.

ReFlow Maritime blev grundlagt for kun 8 måneder siden med ambition om skabe en mere bæredygtig maritim industri. Virksomheden, der til dagligt holder til på PIER47 ved Langelinie, introducerer som de første i verden en digital platform til at facilitere brugen af cirkulær økonomi inden for vedligeholdelse af verdens handelsflåde.

”Vi gør det nemt for udstyrsproducenter og rederier at benytte reparerede komponenter på en tryg og forsvarlig vis”, siger Rasmus Elsborg-Jensen, der efter den flotte pris har fået styrket troen i, at cirkulær økonomi i den maritime industri er fremtiden.

ReFlow Maritime lancerer til efteråret deres digitale platform globalt.
