Stor britisk kabel-ordre til NKT

NKT har indgået en såkaldt Preferred Supplier Agreement som hovedleverandør på installation af on- og offshore DC-højspændingskabler til Dogger Bank havvindmølleparkerne Creyke Beck A/B. Parkerne er et joint venture mellem Equinor og SSE.

Den endelige ordre er betinget af de afsluttende kontraktforhandlinger, og af at kunden giver NKT godkendelse til at starte projektet op.

Ordren omfatte produktion af cirka 4x175 km 320 kV DC offshore eksportkabler, cirka 4x32 km 320 kV DC onshore eksportkabler og installation foretaget af kabeludlægningsskibet NKT Victoria.

For NKT forventes den endelige ordre at have en kontraktværdi på cirka 2,7 milliarder kroner målt i markedspriser. Kablerne vil blive produceret på NKT’s fabrik i Karlskrona, Sverige, forventeligt med produktionsstart i 2020, og installation forventes at starte i slutningen af 2021.
