Dansker får toppost i Pacific International

Lars Kastrup, der tidligere har været topchef i APL og højt placeret i CMA CGM, bliver ny topchef i Singapores Pacific International Lines, efter en større udrensning i toppen af selskabet. PIL har netop gennemgået en større finansiel rekonstruktion.

I forbindelse med rekonstruktionen har PIL fået tilført i alt 750 mio. dollar, og det bliver nu Lars Kastrup, der sammen med den ligeledes nyudnævnte executive director, Chee Yen Gan, skal føre selskabet videre.

Flere medlemmer af Teo-familien, der tidligere ejede selskabet, ryger ud i forbindelse med etableringen af den nye topledelse. Selskabets formand, SS Teo forbliver dog på sin post.

Lars Kastrup, der også bliver medlem af PIL´s bestyrelse stod i spidsen for rederiet APL indtil 2019, hvor det blev opkøbt af CMA CGM. Tidligere arbejdede var han senior vice president i det franske selskab med ansvar for terminaler, skibe og logistik.

Før sin ansættelse i CMA CGM i 2007 var han i A.P. Møller - Maersk.
