DFDS sælger to mindre sideportskibe

DFDS har solgt de to sideportsskibe Lysvik Seaways og Lysbris Seaways til det aalandske rederi Godby Shipping. Skibene forlader dog ikke DFDS flåde, idet DFDS har chartret skibene tilbage igen for en mindst 3-årig periode. Besætningerne fortsætter om bord.

De to 129 meter lange søsterskibe, Lysvik Seaways og Lysbris Seaways, bliver især brugt til at sejle papirruller fra Norge til kontinentet og Storbritannien, men også containere og stykgods finder plads om bord.

Skibene - der er bygget i hhv. 1998 og 1999 - er indregistreret i det internationale norske skibsregister NIS, hvilket de fortsat vil være, ligesom begge besætninger fortsætter uændret.

Lysvik Seaways blev leveret til den nye ejer i sidste måned. Lysbris Seaways leveres i denne måned.
