Hurtigrutens Richard With fri af grunden

Fredag eftermiddag lykkedes det Hurtigrutens færge Richard With at komme fri af grunden ved indsejlingen til Sognefjord, hvor den fredag morgen gik på grund, efter at teknisk fejl havde gjort det umuligt at manøvrere skibet.

Ved grundstødningen blev der slået hul på en ballasttank, men der var på intet tidspunkt fare for skibet eller de 67 besætningsmedlemmer og teknikkere der befandt sig om bord.

Skibet kom netop fra værft da uheldet skete, og der var ingen passagerer om bord. Færgen var på vej til Bergen, hvor det skulle have genoptaget normal drift fra den 8. august.

Richard With kom fri af grunden ved højvande, og bugseres nu i havn for at gennemgå flere undersøgelser og efterfølgende reparation.

De norske myndigheder er i gang med at undersøge årsagen til grundstødningen,
