Ny Samsøfærge på kommunal dagsorden

Torsdag den 7. februar skal Samsøs kommunalbestyrelse tag stilling til, hvordan en ny hurtigfærge, der skal sejle mellem Aarhus og Sælvig skal fungere. De 11 kommunalbestyrelsesmedlemmer, får blandt andet indblik i, hvordan den kommende færge kommer til at se ud.

Samsø Kommune har bedt Incat Crowther om forslag til fartøjets design. Planen er, at fartøjet skal bygges på det kinesiske værft Afai Southern Shipyard. Det skal drives af det kommunalt ejede Samsø Rederi.

Kommunalbestyrelsen skal på det ekstraordinære møde udover at godkende selve færgebyggeriet og økonomien omkring den nye færge blandt andet tage stilling til forslag til billetpriser, og sejlplan.
