Swire Blue Ocean vinder stor skotsk ordre

Offshore rederiet Swire Blue Ocean, der har operativt hovedsæde i København, har indgået en kontrakt med MHI Vestas Offshore Wind om transport og installation af 114 V164 10MW-havvindmøller på Seagreen offshore-vindmøllepark ud for Skotland.

Seagreen offshore-vindmøllepark, der ligger 27 km ud for Skotlands østkyst, vil efter færdiggørelse dække energibehovet i cirka en million skotske hjem.

”Vi er glade for, at MHI Vestas har valgt SBO til installation af vindmøllegeneratorer på Seagreen”, siger Jacob Gregersen, CCO, Swire Blue Ocean.

I 2019 afsluttede Swire Blue Ocean installationen af 84 vindmøller på Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm, der er ejey af SSE Renewables, CIP og Red Rock Power.

I 2018 arbejdede SBO og MHI Vestas sammen om at installere to V164-8.8 og ni V164-8.4 turbiner på det europæiske offshore vinddistributionscenter i nærheden af Aberdeen.

”Vi er ekstremt stolt over at tilføje et tredje skotsk projekt til vores track record”, siger Mikkel Gleerup, administrerende direktør i Swire Blue Ocean.
