Danske Havne støtter udbygning i Aarhus

Direktør i Danske Havne Tine Kirk støtter i JP Aarhus helhjertet planerne om udvidelse af Aarhus Havn. Allerede i dag er 95 procent af havnens arealer lejede ud, så der er trængsel. Havne er national kritisk infrastruktur og afgørende for, at vores dagligdag hænger sammen, lyder vurderingen.

”Læg dertil, at 70-75 af al dansk udenrigshandel går over kaj, og at transport af gods på skib er 15 gange mere klimavenligt end på lastbil.

Havne-udvidelser sikrer vores fremtid og bevarer arbejdspladser i Danmark. Og da søtransport er den mest klimavenlige tunge godstransport-form, er det en win-win-win”, hedder det videre.
