Kæmpe spole overført mellem skibe

Det er en temmelig stor operation, når en kampe stor spole på 53 ton, 11,3 meter i diameter og en bredde på 6 meter, skal flyttes fra det ene skib til det andet. En operation af denne type blev i denne uge gennemført i Kalundborg.

Skibet Palmgracht, som lå ved Kaj 5/6 i havnen, skulle flytte en enkelt spole til skibet Terneskjaer, som skulle fragte spolen videre til Norge.

Operationen skete i forbindelse med, at Palmgracht lossede yderligere 10 spoler til National Oilwell Varco - NOV Flexibles, i Kalundborg.

SDK Group stod som agent for hele den store operation.
