Maersk vil dele køle-data med kunderne

Maersk vil nu knytte sine kunder i kølecontainersegmentet tættere til sig ved at give dem mulighed for at integrere data om temperatur og luftfugtighed i kølecontainerne i deres egne systemer. Hidtil har kunderne skulle benytte Maersk´ egen app, kaldet Captain Peter.

Den nye mulighed - døbt Captain Peter Integrated - tilbydes kontraktkunder, der dermed får mulighed for at integrere de vigtige data i egne eller 3. partssystemer. De pågældende kunder får også mulighed for at give afsenderne eller modtagerne af de let fordærvelige varer adgang til at kigge.

“Lanceringen af Captain Peter Integrated er et vigtigt skridt på rejsen mod mere digitaliserede og integrerede forsyningskæder,” siger Bruce Marshall, Head of Reefer Solutions i A.P. Møller – Maersk og tilføjer, at kundernes mulighed for at integrere data fra Maersk i egne systemer også betyder opbygningen af et tættere partnerskab med de pågældende.

Kundernes mulighed for at følge kølevarerne med Captain Peter blev introduceret i december 2019. Maersk oplyser, at 90 pct. af selskabets flåde af kølecontainere vil være opgraderet til at understøtte transmission af data på timebasis.
