Vessel Stowage Planner - Unifeeder

On behalf of Unifeeder, MARPRO Group is looking for a Vessel Stowage Planner for the office in Gdynia, Aarhus or Limassol. You will report to the Stowage Team Leader.

The job

As a Vessel Stowage Planner, you will be responsible for creating stowage plans for Unifeeder's vessels operating primarily in the Mediterranean region using Seacos stowage program (StowMan). You will issue stowage instructions to ports and terminals while ensuring the safety of the crew, vessel and the cargo. A key part of the role is to optimize vessel utilization and port operations, in collaboration with but not limited to agents, customer service, marine operation, terminals and vessel officers.

Professional qualifications

• Relevant education e.g. Master Mariner or Dual Officer
• Sailing experience from container vessels
• Experience with stowage of containers
• Experience and understanding of the shipping industry
• Advantage if you have knowledge of Seacos stowage program or Seacos on board stability program (StowMan/MACS3)
