On behalf of BAWAT, MARPRO Group is looking for an Area Sales Manager to join the team in Hørsholm, represent BAWAT globally, driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and establishing BAWAT as a professional partner for ballast water management as well as other growth areas. BAWAT’s market leading containerised Ballast Water Management System (BWMS) is changing the way the industry handles ballast water and is a major growth area globally.

Key responsibilities

The Area Sales Manager will drive regional sales of BAWAT´s ballast water treatment systems, identifying and closing new business opportunities with predominantly ports and port authorities, shipowners, operators, and shipyards. You will develop sales strategies, deliver product presentations, and ensure customer compliance with IMO and USCG regulations. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle, building strong client relationships, and providing after-sales support. The role requires market analysis, reporting, and collaboration with internal teams. Frequent travel is expected for client meetings and industry events. A strong technical understanding and ability to communicate BAWAT´s unique pasteurization-based technology is essential.
