Financial Controller - Christiania Shipping - Chemical Division

On behalf of Christiania Shipping, MARPRO Group is seeking a talented Financial Controller to join the finance department in the Chemical Division, reporting directly to the Chief Accounting and Reporting officer.

The job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage the control of costs, vessels, projects, and subsidiaries. In this role, you will be part of internal optimization initiatives, participate in month-end closing procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, and support the team with tax filings, reporting, and data analysis. Additionally, you will handle various ad hoc tasks assigned by management. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial and operational efficiency of our organization.

Professional qualifications

• Relevant financial/accounting education
• Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting and financial controlling
• Maritime experience and relevant accounting background an advantage, though not mandatory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Excel
• Familiar with DK GAAP and IFRS compliance requirements
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Eligible to work in Denmark
