Product Expert, Performance

NAVTOR is now seeking a Product Expert to join the team in Korsør, Egersund, Stavanger or Bergen. 

The job

As a product expert in the performance team, your role involves deep understanding of the product in reporting and validation. You will collaborate with development teams to provide subject matter expertise, guide feature implementation, and ensure alignment with overall product roadmap. 

You will act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into understandable insights. The role requires that you stay updated on industry trends, assess emerging technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Performance products. You will be expected to conduct training sessions and support customer-facing teams with technical insights.

We do not expect you to be an expert in Navtor product and services or the relevant legislation from day one. We will ensure the required onboarding and training for you to succeed with the role. You will refer to the Product Manager. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Product analysis and reporting
• Technical expertise
• Customer support
• Maintain & develop reporting standard and report schemes
• Develop and maintain validation rules

Professional qualifications

• A relevant education, e.g. Marine Engineer, Naval Architect, Navigation Officer or Dual Officer
• Technical proficiency 
• Excellent communication skills in English, to effectively convey technical information orally and written
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
