Det norske rederi Hurtigruten får ny ejer

Efter en hård kamp med gæld stiftet kort før corona epidemien lagde markedet dødt, er det lykkedes Hurtigruten at overtale en række eksisterende investorer til at pumpe 360 millioner euro ny kapital i selskabet.

”Det er en vigtig milepæl for Hurtigruten. Denne løsning gør os i stand til at fortsætte arbejdet med at realisere vores langsigtede mål, muliggøre bæredygtig vækst og skabe endnu bedre kundeoplevelser. Vi ser frem til at arbejde sammen med vores nye ejere”, siger Hedda Felin, administrerende direktør i Hurtigruten.

Det nye ejerskab ledes af Arini Capital Management.

”Hurtigruten er et stærkt, traditionelt brand, der har skabt sig et navn i over et århundrede som en operatør i verdensklasse. Vores investorgruppe ser frem til at støtte Hurtigrutens ledelsesteam og medarbejdere”, siger Torben Geisler, Arini Capital Management.

Transaktionen vil reducere rederiets gæld med mere end 1 milliard euro, hvorefter restgælden vil udgøre godt 400 millioner euro.

Rederiets ledelse fortsætter uændret, og rederiet vil fortsat være et selvstændigt selskab med 10 skibe under norsk flag.

Købet forventes gennemført i januar 2025.
